Chula Vista Heroes Night: The Chula Vista Police Department Foundation will be held at the Easton Archery Center at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center at 2800 Olympic Park Road from 4 to 8 pm on Saturday "Heroes Night" event. 9/11 Memorial Stair Climbing: Harrah's Resort South California and Rincon Fire Department held this event at 10 am on Saturday morning to commemorate the people who made the final sacrifice 20 years ago. Participants were invited to climb 110 flights of stairs in the north tower of the resort, which is the height of the tower of the World Trade Center. Stair climbing is not a timed race or event, it is open to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Registration is free and will open at the North Tower on Saturday. Donations will be collected on site, and the Rincon tribe will match all donations received. All proceeds from Stair Climb will be donated to Tunnels to Towers, a foundation that provides unsecured housing for families of military and emergency personnel. The casino is located at 777 Harrah's Rincon Way.
