Apple Valley, California-Take out your lawn chairs, wipe off your dancing shoes, and get ready to return to the Civic Center Park for a live music performance on Thursday, June 17th, when the Latin Express will open the Apple Valley Town Sunset Concert The prologue of the series. Sponsor Agio Real Estate from 6pm to 9pm

"We miss our neighbors, friends and family members enjoying the great music in the park at sunset every Thursday," said Mayor Curt Emick. "These concerts are just one of the many factors that make Apple Valley the best place to live and play in the high desert."

The sunset concert series features food vendors, beer gardens, live music and dancing. Concert audiences should bring blankets or portable chairs, but keep pets at home because they are not allowed in the concert venue. Smoking is prohibited in all city parks.

The rest of the lineup this summer includes:

In addition, the Freedom Festival will return to Brewster Park on July 4, when there will be more live music, food, retail vendors, fireworks, etc.

The town will follow the public health guidelines established at the time of the concert as needed, such as capacity restrictions, social distancing and wearing masks. Civic Center Park is adjacent to the Apple Valley Town Hall and across from the Super Target of the Apple Valley Commons Shopping Center. Parking and admission are free.

"Of course, we cannot do this without the support of our generous sponsors," said Mayor Emick, who pointed out The Commons Mall is the band sponsor this week. "We are very grateful to all the companies that helped the concert return to our park this year."
