By now you’ve probably seen Wolfgang, Dave Grohl, Josh Freese (Devo, Guns N’ Roses, Nine Inch Nails) and Justin Hawkins of The Darkness perform scorching covers of Van Halen classics at one of both of the recent Taylor Hawkins Tribute concerts on YouTube.

But did you know that you can watch the entire 5-hour concert at Wembly Stadium in perfect quality & high definition on Paramount+ (Paramount Plus)? The entire concert is well worth watching!  (Wolf’s set starts at 0:48:41)

The concert, presented by Foo Fighters and the late drummer’s family, also featured fellow drum legends like Lars Ulrich and Stewart Copeland, surviving Rush members, Brian May, a reunited James Gang, and many more.

Watching Wolfgang absolutely burn the house down by performing Van Halen songs on guitar is simply incredible! Wolf’s face is beaming with happiness and pride and, as we always knew, he’s more than capable of playing his dad’s music when the occasion calls for it.

It was also cool to see Josh Freese and Taylor’s son Shane perform onstage wearing their red-white-and-black striped EVH Swim Shorts. What Taylor would wear in honor of Eddie became something worn in honor of Taylor, too.

“It should come as no surprise that Taylor Hawkins was a huge fucking Van Halen fan,” said Grohl, who performed bass duties during Wolf’s set. “Didn’t you see those shorts he would wear every night? “

Another highlight of the show was when Shane Hawkins, Taylor Hawkin’s 16-year-old son, took his father’s position behind the drumkit. Seeing him smash out the drums to “My Hero”, as a tribute to his departed dad, was another heart-touching moment.
