Neil Young said that he plans to record a new album "soon", even though his latest LP with Crazy Horse will be released on December 10.

In a recent Rolling Stone interview, the legendary rock singer was asked what drove him to continue making new materials when many of his peers stopped writing.

"I just like music," Yang replied. “If you see people’s reactions to songs like'Welcome Back', that’s why we do it. It touches people’s souls. It doesn’t necessarily mean it’s me. It may just be that they found the music they like. , And they can find the music they like in any number of people. But, you know, it’s very comforting to read the songs I just finished and hear that people are happy to get them."

He continued: "This makes me want to move on. I'm already planning another record. I just don't know where to do it. But we are working hard to solve this problem and we will figure it out. We will be back soon. To the studio."

Young pointed out that when assembling a new track, he will try to avoid playing it in full before recording. "I don't know how to sit and play guitar and sing," he said. "I might sing a poem, or think while playing, maybe hum or something. Then I write out all the words, and I try not to write any more until the band records. Before we start, I will Show these changes to the band, and let them play for a few minutes. Then I'll start."

Young believes that this process adds unique energy to his songs. "Because this is the first time I have done this, it is cool because you are discovering everything-whether it works or not," he explained. "You can improvise because you have nowhere to go. There are no rules, there is nothing. "Well, I did a good job last time, so I will do it again. "This does not happen in this method."
