This electric taser guitar really exists. Handing out electric shocks when you gamble with your guitar playing skills (or lack of them) and Rocksmith.

A taser can distribute electric shocks for self-defence. So why wouldn’t you just combine this with an electric guitar that punishes you with an electric shock every time you mess up a guitar part? I can think of many reasons.

But there is always one idiot on YouTube that will have a go for likes.

YouTuber Lightwing does not seem to have properly thought through what having a taser bolted to your guitar means. As you will see in the video below he gets a fair few electric shocks with this insane contraption.

“I want to test if corporal punishment is still conducive in an educational environment by hooking up a taser to a guitar and trying to play music. That, or I’m a masochist trying to justify myself.”

He wanted to use a self-trained AI that recognizes players and then triggers an electric shock – the Taser is connected to the bridge of the guitar in a small box attached behind the guitar bridge.

Take a look for yourself at the video below and watch as the guitar shocks him when he misses a note whilst using it with Rocksmith. The video also contains the process of getting the AI to learn the correct playing for the various guitar parts. This itself takes quite some time. Though once Lightwing finally perfects it he gets rewarded with plenty of shocks to his fingers.

If you aren’t sure how Rocksmith is supposed to be used. Check out the official video on how you actually use it to train your brain and fingers. I’m pretty sure that it works a lot better without the fear of electrocution.
